Olivia Rodrigo is on top of the album chart again. Her album you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love climbs back to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 dated Oct. 31, giving it a third week at the summit, though not in a row, Billboard reported.
A fresh remix did much of the work. Billboard said a new version of the single Expectations featuring Chappell Roan, released Oct. 15 along with its music video, largely drove the jump.

How the week added up
Streaming led the way. Streaming equivalent albums accounted for 63,000 of those units, which equals 67.14 million on-demand official streams, according to Billboard.
Sales were a smaller share. Album sales added 11,000 units, down 7%, while track equivalent albums added 1,000, Billboard said.
The remix is a first for both artists. Variety said it is Rodrigo's first remix ever and Roan's first time as a featured artist.
Inside the remix
Roan adds a new verse, tweaking the lyrics to refer to a mediocre female suitor alongside Rodrigo's original lines, according to Rolling Stone.
The pair go back years. Roan opened for Rodrigo on the Sour Tour in 2022 and the Guts World Tour in 2024, and both work with Nigro, Rolling Stone said.
Rodrigo is now on the Unraveled Tour in support of the album, Pitchfork reported.
Background
The album has had a long run near the top. It opened with two weeks at No. 1 on the charts dated June 27 and July 4, and in 19 weeks it has never dropped out of the top five, Billboard reported.
Rodrigo's return knocked Taylor Swift's The Life of a Showgirl off the top spot, Variety said.
The Billboard 200 ranks albums by equivalent album units, compiled by Luminate, which combine album sales, track sales and streams, Billboard explained.
The rest of the top 10
Zach Bryan came close. His Young Manhood and Other Donatable Organs opened at No. 2 with 65,500 equivalent album units, Billboard reported.
It was a quick release. Bryan announced the eight-song set, which features Lana Del Rey and Turnpike Troubadours, on Oct. 12 and put it out four days later.
It is his sixth top 10 album and his second release of the year, following With Heaven on Top, which debuted at No. 1 in January, according to Billboard.
Morgan Wallen's latest album held at No. 3, and Ella Langley's Dandelion stayed at No. 4, Billboard said.
An older album also made a comeback. SZA's SOS returned to the top 10 nearly four years after its December 2022 release, Variety reported.
What happens next
Billboard said the full Oct. 31 chart will go up on its website on Oct. 27.
Whether the album will stay at No. 1 next week is not known. It is also not known whether more remixes or singles from the album are planned.
